i've had that happen a lot, with many different plug-ins, and i always narrowed it down to a problem between Logic and the plug-in. i don't think it's a memory issue because i've had it happen with very simple effects in very empty sessions. it's also the way that it clips, it's unlike a typical machine overload... it's a very particular thing. i think it's just a Logic bug and don't know what to do about it because it's intermittent and has happened with about 10 different plug-ins. i've had the best luck by copying the setting, closing out the plug-in, reopening it and pasting the setting back. then the overload will usually stop. if that doesn't work then i deal with it by muting the plug-in until i really need the effect and then bouncing that track and muting the effect again. sorry that this doesn't permanently solve the problem, but i just wanted to let you know i've been dealing w/that exact issue for years and i have a super-powerful 8-core Mac Pro with 10GB of RAM, so it's probably not the computer's fault. good luck, and if you figure out what's wrong please share it with us! =) ____________________________________________________________ Invest in Gold Today Diversify your investment portfolio with Gold and Silver.
