I imported the audio file but got the message that "I did not have sufficient priviledges and
the track would not be saved". What is the deal with that?
Sounds like its reading from a CD. Try to bring it into logic (you can drag and drop it onto the audio window or arrange window, or use the menu or key command for audio files). Then copy it to somewhere else, when it asks if you want to change the reference answer YES.
