Apple Logic Pro /LogicExpress Discussion

Hi, what's the best way to get my song- and audiofiles from my G4 Mac to a
friends PC?
So far I've saved the song as a project and also converted the Audio-files
from .aif to .wav. Then I burned some CD's.

But the friend of mine has had problems with too long audio-file names, so
do I have to rename them from Logic's Audio window, one by one?
Can't believe that this should be necessary, manually renaming so many
files...

So how do the Pros deal with such an issue?
