Ever since Hans Zimmer taunted me with "can your sequencer do this?"
and proceeded to make a true legato passage (tiny overlaps) with no
overlaps on repeated notes, I decided to see if it could be done. And
it can in Logic with the help of Quickeys.

I have a one-click on the turbo ball macro that goes:

Force Legato
Change Format unit to a size two smaller (i.e. 16ths to 32nds)
Lengthen by format
Change Format unit back to original
Overlap Correct

It's a favorite for strings in particular.
