Ever since Hans Zimmer taunted me with "can your sequencer do this?" and proceeded to make a true legato passage (tiny overlaps) with no overlaps on repeated notes, I decided to see if it could be done. And it can in Logic with the help of Quickeys. I have a one-click on the turbo ball macro that goes: Force Legato Change Format unit to a size two smaller (i.e. 16ths to 32nds) Lengthen by format Change Format unit back to original Overlap Correct It's a favorite for strings in particular.
