Plugin Question

2005-03-02 by msirt@earthlink.net

Why does Logic load plugins that were used in tracks that were deleted from an earlier
copy of the file? I had used a file with a substantial plugin load created earlier as a
template for a song that did not need them all, and yet they all load even if most of the
the earlier tracks are deleted from the new one. It's completely exasperating that I lose
precious time waiting for samples that are not even in use to load every time the file
crashes (which is often) and is re-opened. All plugins reload even if the file is left open &
moved to the background then brought to the foreground after opening a second file
(trying to paste the regions into a brand new autolad file that is plugin clean). Isn't there a
way to stop plugins from loading? It's completely out of hand.
