multi Core Processors in june 2006(thanks)

Hey guys I just wanted to say thank you for all the opinions and comments. It made me
realize one thing. our dual g5's do rock and they will handle anything I can think of
throwing at them for a while . and if I have to I will run nodes. I am thinking about a 2ghz
imac & dual 2ghz g5. (use the Imac for live situations and in the studio use it for all soft
synths i.e. reason 3.0, NI, etc

They are definitely more powerful. However, they can be made to choke without too much trouble by using Virtual instruments and insert plugs - maybe only 8 or 10 tracks can give me overload errors on my dual G5/1.8. Then you get into the freezing thing, which is where crashes used to hit me before.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
