Bouncing Click? in 7.1

Bouncing Click? in 7.1

2005-08-26 by weshambright

Hey everyone,
I am exporting a large # of projects and I was wondering if it is possible to
bounce the
click that is automatically there.
Thanks in advance.

Just make a track with ultrabeat and put a single kick drum in a one bar sequence with a beat on every quarter note. I put two hits on the first beat so it goes like ONE two three four. Then loop it to infinity.

You could also bounce/export that one bar loop to audio, bring it to an audio track and cut it at each quarter note, put it in an folder, then loop that to infinity. I think that would be more efficient because an instance of Ultrabeat loads a bunch of samples and might do some processing to the hits. So just having a simple audio file is less stress.

Then put this in your autoload, and you have a ready made click. Actually I just leave that kick while I am working on a song, and then add the actual drums later.

Never tried it myself, but isnt the metronome just basically triggering
KlopfGeist, which is an AU Instrument? If you actually make a track for
it in the Arrange, perhaps you can just bounce the track?

Or just do like George said, use Ultrabeat or something similar and make
a one bar Quarter Note click and loop.

Re: Bouncing Click? in 7.1 Solution

Thanks for the tip on Bouncing my click. I just set up a EXS kit so I could change it to
mono. Then did the loop drag method and wWAAALLLLAH!! Instant click that changes with
the tempo that I bounced to audio.

Thanks you guys...

It's a bug in Logic. If you bounce with the click on, only the first click
will be there if it's an offline bounce. If it's a realtime bounce, all
clicks are there.
