Yeah, the Sample Editor was really dated.. even a few years ago. Soundtrack 
is far better in most ways. I would also like to see a semi-transparent grid in 
the background showing the beats with vertical lines, and levels with 
horizontal lines.

I think they should steal Ableton's idea of audio warp markers. If you want 
to time correct some audio - instead of pasting and cutting little snips, why 
not just put a marker where you want the beat to fall and have Logic make it 
happen. Its such a simple musical idea which is contrary to Logic's way of 
working.

I also wouldn't mind sample from playing back through a generic channel - 
rather than having them play back through a specific one - so you have to waste   
a track and not put any plugs on it.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
