Soundtrack is far better in most ways. I would also like to see a semi-transparent grid in the background showing the beats with vertical lines, and levels with horizontal lines. I think they should steal Ableton's idea of audio warp markers. If you want to time correct some audio - instead of pasting and cutting little snips, why not just put a marker where you want the beat to fall and have Logic make it happen. Its such a simple musical idea which is contrary to Logic's way of working. I also wouldn't mind sample from playing back through a generic channel - rather than having them play back through a specific one - so you have to waste a track and not put any plugs on it.
