It's always possible, but it hasn't become any more likely. It's
still an OSX application, built on Apple Pro libraries (since version
7) that never existed for Windows at all and most likely never will.
And odd as it may seem, changing the OS is a lot more work than
changing the processor but using the same OS.
What's much more likely, is that you can eventually download some
hacked illegal version of Intel-OSX that will run on a PC.
