Wow! Help needed! Logic and MBox on bad communication terms!??

Wow! Help needed! Logic and MBox on bad communication terms!??

2006-01-18 by pete_buchwald

Hello everybody,

Please e-mail any help to pete_buchwald@...

I have a serious problem that has my logic grounded for the time being. If I load a
song, and push 'play" my audio plays at about half time!! I checked the sample rates of
both Logic and my M-Box.

I did a "software update" recently, things seemed to go bad with my audio stuff after
that?

I have Logic 6.3.1, and Mac OS 10.3.9.

I tried re-installing the Logic and that didn't work.

I looked on Apple.com but didn't really find any help there.

I guess I could pull out the M-Box and try the E-Magic audio device I have, but I would
prefer to use the M-Box.

Everything is playing/recording at half speed (approximately): Audio tracks, virtual
instruments, the click track ...

Thanks so much for any insight!!!!

       Pete

I'm using Logic 7.1 and Tiger 10.4.4 and everything is fine...

I would double check all of your settings- also which MBox you have?
and do you have the latest core audio drivers for MBox? Does other
audio- like iTunes- play correctly through the MBox? Try playing an
audio CD and see...
