New iMac - purchase and interface

Hey, I've decided to bite the bullet and get a new core duo iMac. It seems that it will run 4x as many tracks/plugs/etc. as my 1.5ghz G4 PB. Two questions though - 1. Does anyone know if there's any difference ordering online or buying at an Apple store? I'm looking for the educator discount and a payment plan, but would love to have a computer in hand ASAP. 2. My trusty RME Hammerfall PCI card is no longer usable on any Macs, so I'm left with a need for an audio interface with ADAT input. I'm assuming my best/only option is Firewire, and there seems to be nothing under $500 with ADAT, except for some new Alesis io/14 thing for $300. Any recommendations? Thanks, Gregory
