New to the digital recording scene

New to the digital recording scene

2006-06-01 by giacobbe9578

Hi All,

My name is Mike and I need your help. I have been in a band for a
while and we have always recorded in a studio. now I am looking to
record a solo project and move on top producing other peoples music.
Some people say to get a portable studio like the Boss BR 1600 cd,
other say computer programs are the way to go like logic and pro
tools. what do you think? And if I did buy logic software, what else
would I need to start recording an album? All I have is a Toshiba
notebook laptop, a guitar and an amp. HELP!!!

Thanks

One thing you're gonna need right away if you're gonna use Logic is
an Apple Computer. Logic will not run on your PC.
