Can anyone tell me how to do a fade out at the end of a song? I can
only find references to fading individual regions in mili seconds, and
I would like to do a 30 second fade on a coda where all of the tracks
fade out simultaneously.

Thanks

David

When I fade out a song, I always fade each one of the tracks individually. Is there any other way of doing it?

Use automation on Output 1-2 and do the fade out there.

Or perhaps a little safer is to bounce the whole song down to a stereo pair. Then reimport it, and fade that. In that way, it can always be altered or fixed if the fade does not sound right later. You might consider also altering the EQ as it fades to be more muffled and distant as if its getting furher away rather than just diminishing in volume.
