Has anyone used MasterWriter for song writing? Its kind of an integrated word
processor and rhyming dictionary and thesaurus, but more than that too.

I used a demo version and wrote one song with it. Was interesting
using the rhyming tools it has and I liked the results. But I just
went back to my old ways. Didn't feel natural to me. Nice software
though I just couldn't justify the cost for me.

I've used the demo version and did find it helpful.
It's got a great rhyming dictionary. I did not end up
purchasing it but i do know some professional writers
who swear by it. Just depends on how you like to work.
Just be sure not to pay full price for it. He offers
discounts to practically every professional
organization available and if you don't already belong
to one he might be willing to hook up Logic Cafe.

I think MTLC.com sells it for $194. I am trying the demo too. I wish the
screens would be sizable but it has a lot of good word tools.

Has anyone heard of "soundgard" - some sort of a registry affiliated with
MasterWriter that allows you to record when you create a song before you
copyright. I am tweaking things a lot and it might take a year or more to finish some
songs.
