Apple Logic Pro /LogicExpress Discussion

Ok everyone. I've asked this once before and i've tried several things
but can't get it fixed. I want to throw this out to everyone again to
see if anyone else has had or is having this problem or if i need to
take a whole different route to solving it. 

Problem:   Playing back all of my sessions with logic pro 7.2 and
higher are playing back distorted USING the same EXACT plug ins
SETTINGS ETC.  that i already have used and mixed with in 7.1: 
Multi Pressor  preset Medium Enhanced/EQ/Stereo Spread  (all logic
plug ins)

Now:  i've re installed backwards to 7.1 and everything is fine. no
distortion...all mixes are exactly how they are supposed to be. 


Does anyone know of Apple changing the way the pre sets work with
their plug ins for 7.2 ? If so this could be the reason. But i'm not
sure why they would all of the sudden change their pre sets to sound
different if they kept the same names etc. 


System set up:  

* Logic Pro  
* Mac G5 2.5 dual processors (not intel) 
* Motu 828mkII
