So basically its a TonePort without the preamps and Outputs eh?
Crazy for that price Id rather have the box and not have to worry about 
a plugin in particular but now Im curious to see what comes with the 
Gold pack..
Mine comes in really handy now and then, I just wish the Toneport could 
be used without being connected to a computer hehe (I didnt bother 
looking that up before I bought it).. I will say though, that Orange amp 
model needs quite a bit of work heh. Doesnt sound ANYTHING like our 
Orange hehe.

For $199, you can get the plugin with all of the amps on your pod, and if you 
upgrade to more amp packs, you get those on the plugin too. The advantages of 
the plugin are you can dozens of them running at once (rather than one 
hardware unit), and you have totally 100% clean digital sound (instead running 
through a/d and d/a and analog equipment, and cables). To me its quite tempting, 
but I think I'll wait until they make the deal a little sweeter.
