[LUG] [LAW] M-Audio Oxygen 49 or other boards...your opinion

Having never purchased a midi controller, I would like to get some feedback as to how this one works with Logic 5.x My Yamaha Motif 7 can control Logic very well, but I have a need for a smaller controller. One of my biggest questions is can I control the STOP, RECORD, PLAY functions with the controls that are on the M-Audio Oxygen 49, on the top, right hand side? I am also looking at the EMU Xboard 49.
