Myspace.com Signing Up As Artists Or Band

Myspace.com Signing Up As Artists Or Band

2007-08-08 by revDAVE

I have a friend who is a female vocalist with a new record. She wants to
promote it on myspace.com

Is there any special category that she should sign up under such as a Artist
or Band?

Someone mentioned that 1 might be better than another in terms of promoting
her album ... But I'm just not sure which one is best?

To be taken seriously as an artist (or band) on MySpace you should definitely create an "Artist" account.
The advantages of this are that your site will be searchable within the MySpace community, (which is more than 100 million users,)
You have built in access to SnoCap, which enables you to sell mp3's of your music on-line. You also get to use a free "Player" on which anyone can play your uploaded music (but not download it for free unless you want them to.)
You can network with other fans & artists.

It's a great and FREE promotion tool for any artist...

Oh! chaeck out my page at: myspace.com/3jetmusic

See? It's that easy! : )
