RAM for logic

RAM for logic

2007-09-22 by GAmoore@aol.com

Does anyone have any clues about getting good RAM for a Mac Pro for doing
Logic? There is "high performance" ram by Patriot which is decently priced, but
not sure of the quality.

GA,

I put Corsair memory in mine, which works like a champ, and was a
good deal less expensive than the "advertised for Mac" memory sticks.

Re: [Logic_Cafe] Re: RAM for logic

I think I put Corsair and Geil in my G5 and they worked. However, Logic
crashes fairly frequently so I never know if its the ram or logic. Apple's prices
for ram are so astronomical that its better to accept possible crashes I think.
