LS8 questions

2007-10-06 by GAmoore@aol.com

Just got LogStu8 and had a few questions.

1. How do you use Logic with dual monitors? it seems everything fits on one
window only.
2. How do you import key commands from LP7?

I know HOW to import key commandsd but when I try to navigate to the various
locations I can't find a file it recognizes as a KC file. I think I went to
Library>application support> logic, and Library>preferences> logic.

Re: LS8 questions / Dual Monitors

2007-10-06 by Man Parrish

Hi,

I have tow 23 inch monitors side by side. I just stretch the window
across both screens. Yes you get a little "weird" area where the
screens overlap, but it's well worth miving the window for one track
to see 36+ channels spread out. I also make Screen Sets so I can have
the arrange in one window and the mixer in the other. I have another
set that has the arrange on the top half, and the mixer on the bottom
half across two monitors. It all works like a charm ! Get another
monitor, you'll LOVE it !!! -Man Parrish

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
