To save ram and after loading various instruments into either the kontakt or kontakt player2 racks how does one make each instrument loaded coincide with the different midi tracks in the logic project ? example instruments loaded into the racks piccolo flute I flute II oboe I oboe II clarinet I clarinet II logic tracks 1 piccolo 2 flute I 3 flute II 4 oboe I 5 oboe II 6 clarinet I 7 clarinet II thanks

Kontact allows you to set different midi channels on the same instrument. In
logic's terminology its a multi-instrument. So you would open kontact on one
track, then set up your instruments in Kontact. I think you can just add them,
and they will automatically up the midi channel (1st one is midi 1, 2nd one is
midi 2, etc). Then in Logic you can make 15 more copies of that SAME
instrument (there is a key command for new track, but not the same one as for new
track with next instrument). You should be ready then.
With the more advanced string ibraries (like Sonivox) you can make each midi
track a different articulation. So you only have one track in logic, but maybe
the first note is midi channel 1, then next is midi 3, then back to 1, then 7
or whatever. IN this way you can get very realistic playback which doesn't
sound sampled becaus the same note "C4" for example will sound different with
different articulations.
