Please help. (Motu Ultralite mk3)

Please help. (Motu Ultralite mk3)

2008-09-03 by valentine.augusta

Hi,
I recently got my Motu Ultralite mk3, and have a little question if any of you could help me..
When I plug my Headphones I still can hear my main monitors (which are self-powered thus I
don't use an amplifier) .. I know it's obvious
But.. is it possible to mute them when I use my Headphones? Otherwise I have to switch them
off every time which is inconvenient and silly.

When I turn master volume down, it turns phones volume with it as well..

Thank you so much

Hey,

I have a MOTU 8-Pre, and I think I know what your problem might be. At least I can get
you in the ballpark.

Pull up the MOTU Control screen, the application that has the black microphone for an
icon.

Check to see what is set up to play out the "headphones" output, and make sure it's on
"Output 1-2" and not on "Headphones."

I think that will fix it.

     Pete

Hi Pete,
It seems that everything alright with my audio set up. Headphones are
on 'Main Output 1-2'.
:(
