note to track

2009-11-05 by GAmoore@aol.com

Does anyone know how to add a note to a track in L9? I don't see a
right click, menu, or help item about this.

Notes are at the bottom the mixer page. At the bottom of the tracks
mixer strip. Not sure where else.
Will have to look at my MacProAudio tut to see..
Not in front of the computer with that on it right now.. Will check
later when I get near it.

Re: [Logic_Cafe] note to track

OK..
Checked out Logic itself.

In the arrange window..
Top right of the tool bar (next to "colours" and "list" ICON is a
"Notes" Icon.
Click and a Notes window appears and you can take notes etc. You can
do project notes and track notes track by track..
Just select the track and the track notes works for that track.
Change track and a blank screen appears allowing notes for that track..
Go back and the tracks original track notes are there
NB you can copy and paste into the space such as from the internet or
a document.
You can also drag and drop such things as Hyperlinks and "website
buttons" to the notes page so that you can quickly jump to a website
etc from within that actual note.

In the Mixer window.
Check bottom left corner for the thing that looks like a little book.
Click it and all the track notes etc appears under each track allowing
to you to see and write track notes
The bar above the notes area allows you to "stretch" the notes space
vertically to see more or less.

Can't locate the a keyboard shortcut right now sorry.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
