Question to those for whom L7 is NOT crashing

Question to those for whom L7 is NOT crashing

2005-01-15 by Michael Levine

We have begun to suspect our Waves Platinum bundle is the culprit in
our L7 crashes. (We're using the latest public beta wave shell AU
adapter). Anyone with a complex setup using the Waves bundle with L7
with no or few crashes? Anyone having lots of problems with same?

Thanks,
Michael A. Levine

Hi Michael,

I get crashes when using Waves Platinum. I experimented with starting
new songs in L7 with the Waveshell removed, resulting in long crash-free
sessions.

Michael!

We use Waves L3 only. And use the public beta AU shell.
We did an album over 19 days - 8 to 10 hours a day - 7 days
a week. No crashes - and always use the L3 on the two bus.

I have only had one crash - about 3 weeks ago - running
a bunch of Audio instruments and the L3 - but that same song
has not crashed since!?!?

	Using 2X2 G5 - 6GB RAM - 2X250 GB HD.

Hey all!

What is the best software for complete - and
then - incremental backups?

I just use Lacie's Silverkeeper. Came with my Lacie d2 FW drive.
Works like a charm so far, dont know if its the best but it keeps my
audio drive backed up nicely.

At last, someone who wants to backup stuff before they get into
trouble! ;-)

I use SupaDuper which does exactly what you want to do, has a very
simple interface and is easy to use.

I've been using BackUp from Apple. It comes with a .Mac membership.

Hey All!

Anyone read Opus in the Sunday Comics?!?!
If not - check it out. And notice carefully the very
