Congratulations!!! My... you are racking up quite a few awards with your
car!
I'm glad to hear that the magazine has given Marcos more exposure in the
US. I was wondering what kind of impact it may have.
 
Hey, at least people are comparing yours with an Opel. My coworkers all
call mine a Datsun! :-(

Hi all,

At the Hayward, CA British Field Meet last Sunday I was awarded the
"Best Unique British"  plaque.  My main competition??   A Morris Minor
with a 302 cu. in. Ford!  Very professionally done!  Others?  Hillman,
Jensen-Healey, couple of Austins, etc.  I'll take it!!

Surprising the number of people who had read the British Car Mag and had
done some research.  Of course those folks now have all the
answers...........................  Still getting the "looks like an
Opel GT" comments.  Oh well....  I won.
