I have
my Mantis insured for CDN$20,000, full comprehensive coverage. It costs
about CDN$700/year. I usually take the road-going insurance off when I put
it up for the winter, and get a $200 rebate, so it looks like my costs are very
close to Paul Dransfields.
I
looked at collector car insurance. It is cheap, but it is so restrictive
that you can really only drive your car to and from car shows and similar
events. I like to drive my car, including on business trips in the area,
so I didn't think this would cover me.

Subject: [MarcosManiacs] Marcos insurance???
Hi All,
I am finally about to get my Marcos (Yeah!!!!), and was going to set up insurance. I was thinking about getting collector car insurance through a company called Grundy, but wanted to explore all my options.
I know that some of you use your cars as daily drivers, so what kind of insurance does everyone use and how does it rate on expense?
Any info is appreciated.
Jeff
