No, I
haven't seen this car. Of course, I haven't been out much, as I am getting
the new wheel bearings, and rebuilding the master brake cylinder, which I found
to be leaking slightly when I go the car out of storage. (Was it cold
enough last winter to freeze brake fluid?)

Reaching 100 is quite the accomplishment. How many of those are in North
America?
At the local Ancaster British car day last month, someone came up to me and
said they'd seen another car just like mine in nearby Burlington recently. I
figured he must have meant mine because I'm down that way quite often.
However, someone else asked me this weekend if I'd been in St. Catherines,
another nearby town, recently and that's a definite NO. So it appears
there's another Porcshe tangerine Marcos in the area. I wonder if Ron McLeod
has come across it?
I definitely wat to get new rims and tires in the near future and I've been
looking around for rims which fit my bolt pattern, which, if someone could
confirm I'm measuring it right, has a bolt circle (diametrically opposed lug
bolts) of 3 3/4" x 4. It doesn't look like there are many options available
for 14" rims and even less for 15" rims. I'm leaning towards a 205/55VR15
tire, which is made by a number of manufacturers, but coming up with
suitable rims could be a problem. Has anyone come across suitable rims for a
reasonable price? What's involved in changing the pattern to one that's more
common?
Any insight would be much appreciated.

Amazing! We've hit the 100 mark. Hopefully we can hold that number
and increase it over the summer as we find new members.
A warm welcome to our 100th member Pat from Montreal, Canada ! I
believe Pat owns a Marcos 3 Litre but I'll let him explain it all.
As for me, I took the Marcos to the Pacific Coast Dream Machines meet
in Half Moon Bay, CA last weekend for a beautiful day filled with
cars, planes, steam engines, truck pulls, bikes, and every other
powered contraption that exists. Only problem was the 4.5 hour ride
home in the rain. Heavy rain! Yes, it leaks......
Mike and Mark had their Marcos at the Volvo meet in Davis, CA on Sat.
and then on to Thunderhill Raceway in northern California for a track
day (also in the rain). Both enjoyed the excursion.
Any adventures from the rest of you folks??
Have a good week!
