Just for reference:
The stock Marcos wheel is 13"x5.5" which translates to a
centerline of 3.25" from edge to edge.
The backspace is 3" (the mounting surface is closer to the
back of the wheel than the front).
So........the offset is -(neg).25" or
-(neg)6.3mm

A 15x7 wheel with 4" backspace 0 offset
A 15x7 wheel with 4.25" backspace 6.3mm offset
A 15x7 wheel with 4.50" backspace 12.7mm offset
A 15x7 wheel with 4.75" backspace 19mm offset
a 15x7 wheel with 5" backspace 25.4mm offset
After a lot of searching, the generally accepted +/- offset deal is best
looked at as front wheel drive cars have positive offsets. Older rear wheel
cars tend toward negative offsets. A "deepdish" or "chrome reversed" wheel
has a NEGATIVE offset.
Is that any help???
