Hello Don and Mark,
the XP 2 was sold in EBAY for unbelievable 12.500 US Dollar and the car was sold to the Netherlands. Don´t know the buyer and since then never heard anything of the XP2.
Perhaps we will see the car once in the Classic race scene.

Almost gave up on ya! The pic of the XP2 in Japan was a pic that was on Ebay awhile back. Don't think it sold.
