Hello Donny,
don´t think that there were only 3 Marcos with 3 ltr. Volvo & Automatic. James Twiss did import from USA some years ago a 3 ltr. Volvo Automatic in red.
Here you can see the restauration of this car and the original colour. It is now "Brooklands" Green and is "For Sale" and surely worth the money with 11.990 .

Have some more pictures of the car but don´t find for the moment the chassis-number.

Don,
I was mistaken. This car is a twin to the one Hayes was selling (Crews car). The chassis number of the the one I looked at was #5613 (Crews?). The one for sale is the "New England" car that Hayes was referring to. Now, which one is the real show/magazine car? Were there, in fact, only 3 Volvo cars with automatic transmissions that came to the USA as Hayes thinks? If so, then they are all accounted for.

for the car is Enfield, CT. earlier this year. Seller appears to be
an exotic car dealer in Tarzana California.
I emailed Michael Crews also.
