I showed my Marcos at the Vintage Fall Festival at Lime Rock
Race park on Labor Day weekend. Lots of remarks on the car at the
show that included 400 cars. At the show I ran into a guy that has
both a british import race car, and a wood chassis car. After
chatting with them a bit they indicated that a little help on the
racer would be appreciated. So here is some info. Nick Julian in New
York. E-mail adress WEIRDCAR@... . I told them what web
sites they should be looking at so he may have contacted you
already. Drop a line.
On another subject, you have been talking about the car in the
December 1970 Car & Driver magazine. My car is an original yellow
car. I do have a 5 bolt hub steering wheel, also is an automatic
car. I have also seen the car that was in Enfield Ct. That was also
yellow. I don't recall what it had for a steering wheel. How ever
the Car & Driver car has a rear marker light on it. The Enfield car
and my car do not have any marker lights on them. It would be fun to
find that car!
This is the first time I've posted on the site. I have been
getting eveybodys postings. Alot of stuff is about v6 engines and 4
cylinder engines. How many Volvo are out there. Id like to here
about Volvos. My Volvo runs hot. My automatic no matter how adjust
the linkage, I either get no 1st or no park? I need a new down pipe
off the manifold. Are there any available. Any info would be
helpfull. Phil PGPERRON@...Message
