Alvin . . .
I live near Toronto. I think this area must be a magnet for classic British cars. Every September we have a 'British Car Day' show - this year there were over 800 cars turned up. At the show, I saw at least one of each of the models you have in your collection. I think there were a lot of British cars that were imported into Canada that didn't get to the U.S. during the 50s and 60s.

Hello Ron, maybe common to see an SD1, Hillman Super Snipe, or Alpine Coupe,
or even Tiger where are you from? I'm in Los Angeles my Uncle comes over
daily in either his Tiger, or 928 maybe in his Vette (two other drive on my
street everyday) the only other British car I have seen is a MGB and if you
ever ask anyone out here whats a Hillman unless they are over 50 or into
these cars they dont have a clue. Even the son of editor of the Cat Club
(California Association of Tigers) has never seen an Alpine Coupe. My Dart
GT, Chrysler puts on their Spring Fling and in fall the works, Super Birds,
Daytona's and only 2 Darts both V8's. Buick Car show/GM no 65 Cadillacs and
this is in Los Angeles. I see one old Alpha sedan daily for the last three
weeks coming from work kind of small square looking. I even have a 1973
Lambert bicycle with the original tires side wall dry rotted. I may not be
able to get a LM600 but will settle for a LM500. There was to be a Shelby car
show yesterday but there was a lite rain in the morning and I didnt go didn't
expect to see a Cobra sliding in the grass. I was once behind one on the
street it was a 427 I was in a bus test driving the brakes and he stepped
down on the pedal and I could see the body twist awesome even though I dont
care about Fords, AU, UK of US.
