Welcome to Florida John, sorry to say I am in Illinois for the summer, and 
would not be able to meet.
 
Wirewheel  and Hayes Harris might be interesting to visit. See

Enjoy your time in Florida, hit the beaches and enjoy the sites.
 
I like Busch gardens in Tampa for roller coasters, and Sanibel island for old 
florida feel, and bird sanctuary.
Theres also St Augustine, Kayaking thru the Everglades, Kennedy space center, 
South Beach Miami for the art deco.
Unfortunately, I believe the wildly popular and exciting Tupperware museum is 
gone.
 
I'm not sure if the Lotus Elise is available for rental yet, But if your 
interested...
