Re: [MarcosManiacs] Marcos Parts

2008-02-22 by Richard Brengman

I'm going to need front and rear windscreens for my 1600 GT.
I've been trading parts with a bloke in the U.K. to circumvent the wimpy dollar, but that's not going to work for bulky items like these.

I'm doing a full restoration, but with a 2.0 Alfa engine, trans, and rear axle.

Not sure what else I will need, probably a set of wire wheels as the front and rear axles will no longer have the same bolt pattern.
Wheels brings up the issue of tires, which I have not resolved yet, there seeming to be nothing suitable available in 13".

Hi Marshall,

For myself, I’d like to see things like various emblems & nameplates, wheel centers, e-brake cables, rear suspension bushings and various unique trim pieces.

I am also looking for a source for rear axle components (Cortina).

Hello Marcos fanatics:

I wanted to get some feedback from you folks.....I'm getting ready to put in a Spring order for parts from the UK and wanted to get an idea of what types of Marcos parts you owners would most like to see me keep in inventory. As part of my normal TVR parts inventory, I stock Spax and AVO shocks. Would having the same available for Marcos appeal to everyone as well? Any other suggestions?

I look forward to hearing from many of you.

Thanks,
