The Hines-Prior car has modified doors -- it is no longer a "gullwing" with the doors opening upwards. Instead, they open like a normal car door. I wonder what hinges they used to hold the doors to the body?
I also see some details of note for the 1962 Le Mans Marcos:
- flares added to the rear wheel openings.
- the wheels are green; they look like steel Anglia 105e wheels?
- two leather straps on each side of the bonnet to hold it closed at Le Mans speeds.
- aluminum tabs fitted to secure the headlamp covers at Le Mans speeds.
- sliding windows in doors replaced with Plexiglass with holes to equalize pressure inside-to-outside + fresh air.
- exhaust comes under the chassis and sweeps upwards.
- two Raydyot rear view mirrors mounted on bonnet.
- one single wiper for driver (passenger side removed)
- no parking lamps visible
- one small position lamp added above windscreen/driver's side door for night racing
- windscreen and side window trim uses chrome beadlock for chrome effect (not all black moulding).
- early Marcos emblem/badge on bonnet
- large fuel tank filler on driver's side above boot (probably an Enots "Aston" type filler).
- No roll bar visible?
Does anyone else have photos of the 1962 Le Mans Gullwing? Or know where it is now?
Best Regards,
Andy

Hi Andy,
attached 2 pics of the Hine & Prior Marcos Gullwing from Le Mans 1962. No idea concerning copyrights but both pics are in quiet a good quality.
As well attached 3 pics from driving together with Klaus in his Gullwing on the Nordschleife in the last years at the "Euregio" meeting and 1 picture from Cor EuserŽs actual LM600 Evo just before the start.
Hope it will bring you back some memories of the "Ring".
regards Christian
