Yes, I said I will make HOO 144 available for sale soon. I'll list her for sale in the coming months. But I won't be heartbroken if she stays here and HOO144 and I spend a few more years together on the racetrack...
Again, my apologies for my email "wardrobe malfunction"! ;
Best Regards,
Andy

Nice work Andy - she looks fantastic.....a very 'period' colour I think. She is ;going to be a real wrench to part with I'm sure once you have shown her off and raced her a bit. congrats on getting her so well prepared anyway.
best regards,
Phil.

Fellow Marcos Maniacs,
Hope all is well with you and your cars!
Three weeks to the day since she went to my painter (Mr Brian Tocke of Fredericksburg, Virginia), HOO 144 has returned in her new color: Cotswold Blue. This is a Jaguar XK150, MkII and E-Type hue from 1958 - 1964.
Photos are attached, both before and after. I wish you could see the paint in person. The PPG base color coats + clear coats are extremely deep, change colour depending on the light and simply look staggeringly good. I'm very pleased.
So now HOO 144's physical appearance properly matches her mechanical race car specifications.
This weekend I re-installed the headlamps, Lexan headlamp covers (now secured with aluminum tabs I fabricated, front mesh grill, rear Lucas chrome 467 license plate lamp, and "HOO 144" registry markings front and rear.
Looking forward to seeing you at a race track soon...
Best Regards,
Andy
