Hi Dano, There are a number of concerns when working with resins and fiberglass. The fumes are not good for you. The catalyst (MEKP) can permanently damage the eye, the glass particles (dust) is bad for your lungs and you will become sensitized to resins (if you work with them long enough with out protective gloves etc) that you will break out in rashes and worse. There are books that outline the health hazards as well as how to work with fiberglass generally. As with any thing "dangerous", you need to be informed and to use a little common sense. Lye soap (Drano), gasoline, paint, paint stripper, all have similar concerns and most people use these products without a moments concern. So, understand the problems associated with fiberglass, take adequate protection for the task at hand, and proceed with common sense. (that last phrase might work as a philosphy of life!)
