Marcos Maniacs

This all only makes me wish I could set aside the time to get my Marcos
on the road.  It arrived 7 years ago with undisclosed wood delamination
where the front subframe mounts.  I spend day after day working on other
peoples' classics while mine sit waiting for my attention - and I just
barely have the time to keep my drivable cars on the road.
 
I'll be watching all of your posts with envy - and maybe a bit more
incentive to get mine going.

Have not done a thing to my Marcos, except drive it every Sunday along
the southern end of the Virginia Blue Ridge Parkway.  After being at the
East Coast Marcos gathering at VIR, I would also be very interested in
seeing as many owners and cars in one place.

As I am getting new shocks all around and rear springs (thanks Rory) I
expect that the car will ride quite a bit better thus allowing for a
pleasant ride to almost anywhere this east coast group of MARCII owners
wish to congregate.

Fellow Marcos owners,
I want to wish all a very Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and Happy New
Year.
I am trying to find out if there are any more Marcos owner/ drivers in
the Florida, Georgia, Alabama, area that would be interested in a get
together some time after the first of the year (weather permitting) at a
central location based on the driving distance of each car? We have 3
cars in the Tampa, St Pete, Sarasota area that are all in highway
condition. 
If anyone has any ideas, please shout out.
