I know... I was at Tahoe and I wasn't using my computer and I was in a hurry
and I couldn't think with the grandkids yelling for mr to "hurry up"....
enough excuses. huh. Are you still doing "track days" with the Volvo club? I
have made my Marcos into a dedicated Vintage race car and have been racing
for a couple of seasons with CSRG, HMSA, General Racing, and Solvern. I was
accepted to race at Monterey Reunion (used to be called the Monterey
Historics) this year which is a ?big deal". You will have to come out and
watch me sometime. I usually race at Infineon/Sears Point/Sonoma a couple of
times each season and that wouldn't be too bad a drive for you.

I gave mine to my Brother in 1979 who sold it sometime in the early 80s. It
had the Volvo B30 straight 6 with the Borg Warner type 35 transmission.

Maybe someday it will pop up at a car show here in Northern California.

Walt,

I bought 3v5536 as a total wreck in 1971 and have restored it 3 times. The
last was 4 years ago and campaign it in the the Fall, Winter and Spring at
all the car shows that I can make each year.

I live in Northern California and I once owned a 1970 Marcos with VIN
3V5536. It is possible the 3 may have been an 8; I'd be curious to know if
you happen to have the provenance on the car?
