Danny, I found time this weekend to look at a couple more transmissions and drive shafts. The early sprite/midget is different with a ten spline shaft although it is the same diameter. So I would suggest you look to one of the suppliers state side for a nose piece if the measurements I gave match what you are looking for. Dave Bean or JAE on the west coast and maybe RD Ent on the east are all Lotus guys. Mark
