Fascinating project. I have narrowed my interest to the later GT's, but I hope you'll keep your website posted on what you do. I am not yet familiar with Larry Meadows. Is he a good resource for particular Marcos restoration work?
Thanks,

Chuck,
I have a 1962 Luton Gullwing in pieces. I am having it restored by Larry Meadows in Tampa, Florida. It is one of 13 cars built, however I also have three chassis plates and a spare monocoque chassis.
I plan to make three cars from these parts. The first car was imported into Canada in 1964 and raced with a Ford 1500cc engine. These cars were usually fitted with the Ford 105E engine of 997cc.
So you could choose any engine.
I am currently based in the UK

Welcome Chuck,
I have a 66 #5006 that I was going to build for the same purpose but instead I built an Elan so I am thinking of selling mine. Email me if you are interested and I can give you the details about the car.

Hey folks. I've been bitten by the Marcos bug and am looking
for a GT or similar for vintage racing. Anyone on this list racing their
Marcos? So, it doesn't have to have a great paint job, interior, etc. But
I would like it to be unadulterated. I'd love to find one of the
Triumph-based engines as I already know the Triumph TR6 and have a TR
builder. Were those ever exported to the USA? Otherwise a light-framed
(wood) would be my prefence. I'm located in Greenville, South Carolina.
Any leads or advice is appreciated.
Thanks,
Chuck Watson
