Marcos Maniacs

I have the Chris Lawrence car the he intended to use as the factory demonstrator in order to get some interest in the Marcos brand.  The car was shipped in two boxes... the complete body and the engine separate.  It has the 3.5 Rover V8 with the SD1 flapper type injection (4CU).  The car now has 13,200 miles on it.  From the letters I have the car was assembled at Chris's shop on 1654 Tarleton, Los Angeles, CA.

     Chris Smith might be the same as, Westfield cars in the UK.  There was some type of Marcos dealer or seller in Phoenix AZ. I only saw an advertisement for it.  I too have a, "Bob Boston" car.  Larry Meadows knows what was going on with the cars and him.  He is on the forum often.  Curious, what engine does your car have?
