Hi Dave, I must say that the link to Dave Andrews site provides one of the best write-ups on engine tuning I've ever come across. I've be looking for just this type of information for years. The Ignition Timing discussion is particularly good and may provide the solution to my performance deficiencies that to date I've been unable to resolve. I now strongly suspect that my ignition is over-advancing, causing a loss of power at higher RPMs. I've always been very fast off the line with my new engine but power seems to fade as the revs climb. The article on jetting for Weber carbs will also help me determine if my carbs are set up correctly. At least I'll know if I'm in the ballpark. Great stuff, Dave.
