You are saying that production was intermixed, at least as far as chassis numbers.  The data plate on the car itself only lists chassis number, how would one know if their car is a 1500, 1600 or 1650.  Do the factory records still exist.  If you can be very certain your engine is original do the engine numbers identify if the block was originally a 1500, 1600 or 1650?

The owner of the car in question even stated "Update - Apparently the third from last 1500GT wooden Chassis Car” How would he know this information if the numbers are mixed.  If the factory records still exist shouldn’t we know what model number each chassis was?
