Paul,

Have you taken delivery of your new baby yet !. If so what is she like,
let us know. Is she running or just a project at present. I think I may
have read something or maybe just a reference about this car in an old
copy of the marcos owners club magazine. If I am correct and come across
it again I will let you know. I assume from your e-mail you are located
in the UK, where ?

So sorry didn't pick this up earlier!!!
Yes, I've dipped my toe in the water with Marcos owning although it 
feels like I've dived headfirst in!!
The car was in the ownership of the Duke of Hamilton for around 10 
years in his private collection and then the last owner owned her for 
14 years. She does need work, especially on the chassis but she IS 
worth preserving and fettling back to her former glory!!
I am UK based, in Kidderminster North Worcestershire, not a million 
miles from Birmingham. 
I have since joined the Marcos Owners Club and Marcos International.
I've made contact with the previous owners and they are passing on to 
me all past information etc inclduing pictures from the time she had 
work done on her.
Where are you based?
Yes, if you can find the article, or refer me to it I would be very 
grateful
