5th Marcos Euregio Meeting Sunday 8th September Kasteel Baexem - Holland After last years gathering in Belgium, the fifth edition of the Marcos Euregio Meeting will return to Dutch ground. On the 8th of September the place to be for all Marcos enthusiasts is Kasteel (Castle) Baexem in Limburg (which is the Southern part of Holland in between Belgium and Germany.) A central location, Baexem is located very near to the Motorway Maastricht-Eindhoven and is within reach from every enthusiast visiting the meeting from the UK, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Luxemburg and northern France, the 6 countries that were represented last year. But off course participants from all ove the globe are welcome to join in. With 23 cars and about 60 people attending last years meeting, the Marcos Euregio Meeting is still growing and hopefully some more enthousiast will find their way to Belgium this year. It is the ideal way to meet fellow Marcos drivers from different countries and a perfect week-end on the road in a beautifull setting. Although the meeting only starts on Sunday, Saturday afternoon and evening can be spend together with other early birds and each year Saturdays dinner is enjoyed together. Camping and Hotel addresses can be sent to those wishing to stay overnight. There are even 5 rooms (rates from ca 60 to ca 90 euro per room per night) available in Kasteel Baexem, so if you are quick you can stay overnight on site ready for Sundays event. On Sunday the meeting starts at 10 o\ufffdclock on the forecourt of Kasteel Baexem where all participants will gather for the classic Concours d\ufffd\ufffdl\ufffdgance and can have a look at each others Marcos while exchanging thoughts and stories. On display will also be one of Team Eurotech Mantis race cars. No looking from the side of the race track but looking very closely this time. The lunch (with sandwiches, soup, cake, tea, coffee), which is included in the entry fee of 15 euro per person, will be served in the restaurant adjacent to the small Castle. A short tour in the afternoon will show you the nicest places of the region. On return, a selection of Marcos Racing pictures from the Ferret Photographics archive will be on display. Most of them were never published and some of them will be shown for the first time since a very long time. Looking for a nice Marcos picture from the 60\ufffds on your wall? The best thing is that all pictures will be for sale during the meeting. With the prizegiving of the Concours and a final drink, the fifth Marcos Euregio Meeting will come to an end around 5.00 pm. Although the above already makes the meeting worthwile visiting, it is you, the Marcos enthousiasts that make it really interesting not only for yourselves but for your fellow Marcos enthousiasts as well. So we really count on you and we hope we can increase the number of participants compared to last year.
