Mantis XP/Mark Saxby visit to USA

I just spoke with Roberta Morris (keeper of the Mantis XP) in Alamo, CA. She found the original advertisement from the Wall Street Journal that her husband answered and then purchased the car. She also said she has gotten together all the files, paperwork, etc. on the car and has them ready for us to look at. Two of her sons have gotten the car out of the garage, washed it, aired up the tires and fired up the engine so it's ready for us! Last night I spoke to one of her sons(Ned) who will be there this Sat. the 24th. He is the "most interested" son of the four and he informed me he is putting it back on the road. Seems that an acquaintance of his saw Dave Mcgill's website and now wants to see the car also. So maybe we'll have a crowd. Ned was thoroughly impressed with your site Dave! I passed along your greeting to both Ned and his mother. So if all works out, I will pick up Mark Saxby, who should be arriving in San Francisco tonite, and take him to Alamo in my Marcos Saturday morning. Mark Petrinovich will be coming with his yellow Marcos and hopefully Mike Denman and Stephen Spalding can make it. Excitement is killing and I'm 54 years old! Feel like a kid!
