Paul,
Exactly the conclusion I came to. My fronts and rears are like yours. With the slow disappearance of the 13" tires and wheels throughout the industry I think in the long term the 4 on 4.25" PCD is the best bet. Maybe Garry's supplier does the 4.25" ones also.
<<On alloy hubs. They are made by Canley Classics in England. I bought set
and they fit just fine. Although I don't know for a fact, the ones sold by
Dave Bean and PRI both look like the Canley ones. If enough people want a
set I could arrange a bulk ship and save a ton on freight. They are 3.75
centers using GT6 bearings. The cost is 91 UK pounds each. They save 4lbs.

Subject: {SPAM} [MarcosManiacs] FW: Triumph Vitesse hubs

Hi Guys,

I sent an enquiry off last Friday to Merlin Motorsport in England regarding
front hubs and their response is below. This weekend I took a look at my car
and found that my front hubs take the larger GT6/Vitesse bearings and my
rear drums have already been drilled for a 4 x 4 1/4" PCD. So it would
appear that the easiest solution to enable me to go to 15" wheels with
minimum expense would be to acquire the new hubs and reposition the rear
studs. Does anyone know what size studs were used on the cars originally?
And which of the two stud sizes below is bigger?

Regards,

Hi Paul,
The hubs come with a 4" and 4.25" PCD delivery to Canada is £40.00, the
hubs will be £79.50 each, the total bill will be £199.00. We can supply
studs with M12 x1.5 thread, 1 5/8" or 2 3/8" long, or 7/16unf in 1 3/4" or 2
3/8" long, the studs are £1.45 each and if you want we will press them in to
the hubs free of charge. I hope this is of use.

Regards

Gary

Don,
FYI. After doing some preliminary research, it would appear that there are significantly more 16" and 17" wheels out there with a 4 x 4.25 PCD than 14" or 15" wheels. The 17" wheels look pretty good on the Mantaray, don't you think?

Paul
