2.25" shock supplier in US

2.25" shock supplier in US

2003-08-15 by Don Lattimer

In my search for springs I came across Faulkner Springs in the UK. They
make springs for various companies. The cost to ship two springs would be
63 pounds (100+ USD).

The owner emailed me that they ship to Brits, Inc. in Sonoma, CA almost
every week. I called Brits and they said "no problem". So if you need new
springs check with these folks. I did not get pricing but it has to be
cheaper than 63 pounds!

<<Thinking about it, the other option you have is we ship out almost every
week to: BRITS Inc
28921 Arnold Drive Unit F6 Sonoma CA 95476 (707) 935-3637>>

For my car (steel frame V6) the front springs are 12", 2.25" I.D., 250 lbs.
and the rears are 12", 2.25" I.D., 170 lbs.

Sorry about that, subject should read Spring , not shock.

<distributor for Marcos Heritage.>>
When it comes to Marcos specific parts, Rory is the only show in town so that is good news. For other parts, i.e. springs, shocks, Lucas stuff, etc., Rory is soooooooooo...expensive!! Hopefully we can purchase enuf from him to lower some prices.
;
Please include Essex V6 valve cover gaskets on your list. Thanks!

Hi everyone,
There are a number of spring suppliers who are much cheaper than
importing and will customize length to your spec. The two I have used are
Carrera and Pro shock. We also carry a range of springs at Chevron. If
anyone has a specific requirement I will see what we have in inventory. On
another note, I have firmed up the container shipment from the UK and will
publish when I get back (Aug. 26th) what Ii plan to bring back. There will
then be time to let me know if there is anything you need that is not
included. I am also finalizing a deal with Rory to become the US stocking
distributor for Marcos Heritage.

More later
