Mantula V8

Mantula V8

2003-11-27 by gtm_andy

I am looking for some information (preferably pictures if possible)
of the engine bay of a Mantula V8. I am in the process of fitting
the Rover V8 into a Martina ( similar body/chassis ) and it would be
very helpfull to have photos of engine bay layout. Also if anybody
could tell me at what height the rocker covers sit above the top
chassis leg, I can get the engine mounted at the correct height.

Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Andy.

Darren,

Nice setup !! Wish mine was that clean.

The picture attachments no longer are stored so I added your pic to
the "photos" section under "V8 Conversion". It is the last picture.

Hi Darren
I have a 1969 steel chassis (#5577) that has a Rover 3.5 litre that was also rumored to be a factory install.I would be interested to talk to you off list about the documentation you have on
your car.
You can see pics of my restoration in the photos file in the "Marcos V8" file
Cheers Dave
